With the participation of 500 actors and 25000 square metres, Hoi An memories show was recognized as the country’s largest number of performers and the largest outdoor visual arts performance combining music, poetry, lighting with visual arts, excellent choreography in the capacity of more than 3000 seats.

The show includes 5 grand-scale performances using Ao Dai (long dress) – the Vietnamese traditional costumes as the main language to tell the story of Hoi An 400 years ago.

Stage 1: ‘Life’

The performance recreated a vivid, vibrant picture of the customs and locals life previously through the image of a girl weaving the loom with flexible hands, a gentle smile on her lip. The state-of-the-art sounding and lighting effects with the professional dancers, it will bring the audience back to an ancient Hoi An.

Stage 2: “The Wedding”

The second stageis the most magnificent, majestic, dazzling performance talking about the solemn wedding of Huyen Chan Princess with the king of Champa. You will have the opportunity to admire the impressive and attractive anniversary in the Champa civilization.

Stage 3:‘Lamps and Sea’

The three-stage will take you back to Hoi An during the period 16^th to 17^th century showing the faithful girl waiting for her lover, a merchant sailor to come back home. The show uses the choreography with hundreds of girls wearing long dresses dancing with colourful lanterns to create a fanciful spectacle.

Stage 4: “Port”

This is the main highlight of Hoi An memories shows. This performance will show you the prosperous time of Hoi An commercial port – the busiest trading port in Southeast Asia in the 18^th and 19^th centuries. The ship from japan, china, the Western dock the port to exchange goods and more importantly bring a new culture to this land.

Stage 5: “Ao Dai”

At the end of the show is the traditional long dress performance with hundreds of girls riding along the lighting road, meandering through the corner of the ancient town taking audience return the modern life in Hoi An Ancient Town which is a harmonious blend of ancient and modern features.

The Hoi An Memories Show held daily from 7.30 to 8.45 p.m except for Tuesdays. There are 3 sections in the seating area for the performances including Eco, High and VIP. Hoi An Memories show absolutely a must-see cultural art show that will bring an unforgettable experience for you.
